Before and    After Care

  • For best results, do not exfoliate the day before, the day of, or the day after treatment.

  • It is best not to tan or exercise prior to treatment

  • Do not use razors or depilatory creams between treatments, as this will interfere with your goal to refine and diminish your hair growth.

* Sensitivity Warning: If you are on antibiotics, you think you have a virus, or are on your menstrual cycle, you may be more sensitive.

  • Recommended to wait 24 hours before exposing your skin to the sun or infrared lamps.

  • Avoid perfume soaps or products with chemical irritants and makeup 12 hours following a facial hair removal treatment.

  • Do not apply creams or lotions for 24 hours.

* Due to excessive blood flow to the treated areas your skin will look pink and feel hot, itchy, and/or tender immediately after treatment. Some may take a longer time to react, or not react at all. These reactions are normal as long as the redness disappears within an hour.

Ingrown Hairs

Due to buildup of dead skin cells formed over the mouth of the follicle, the new hair may not have the strength to push its way through the skins surface. You may feel itchy and develop bumps. If your skin is dry you are more prone to this condition.

Proper exfoliation and hydration of skin will prevent the bumps that lead to ingrowns.
